Boosting self-confidence and self-belief

We love working with junior and adult cricketers. That’s because we take great satisfaction from helping others take their cricketing skills to the next level. Above all, we have years of teaching and coaching experience and a genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals. That’s why we can provide the learning environment for children and adults to become the best possible cricketer. For example, we pride ourselves on delivering a coaching program that meets everyone’s cricket needs. As a result, we guarantee all players will be beaming with pride on and off the field after working with us.

Providing individualised cricket coaching for beginners and experts

Each cricketer is unique and has a specific set of strengths and areas for development. Luckily for you, our coaches have the eye to detect what’s working in your game and what’s not. We then take those observations and create a set of coaching strategies that will enable you to reach your short term and long term objectives. Whether those objectives are to develop basic cricket skills or to become a competent player at a representative or pathway standard, our coaches will sharpen and refine your cricket skills in no time.

Safe, qualified and professional coaches

There’s little need to browse the internet for hours to find a professional cricket coach. We have what you need. For instance, when you join our team, you are guaranteed to join a network of  Level 1 and Level 2 Cricket Australia qualified coaches. Additionally, we have years of cricket coaching experience with school and club teams as well as junior representative programs. On top of this, all of our coaches have working with children clearances. Furthermore, our coaches apply their playing experience in the Sydney Grade Competition, overseas leagues as well as representative teams. These attributes enable us to deliver effective coaching lessons for individuals and groups of cricketers.

Convenient and high-quality coaching locations

If you are going to make a commitment to improving your cricket progression, we want to make training with us straightforward for you. That is why we utilise excellent training facilities and cricket nets in local parks in Sydney’s inner west and Sutherland Shire. These venues have ample parking, proximity to other recreational services, and aesthetic appeal. Unlike other cricket coaching businesses, we offer our customers the opportunity to train outdoors with our coaches in natural daylight and various weather conditions. This can help you prepare for match day and make you feel like you are training just like a professional would. For clubs and teams, we can come to cricket venues that you prefer to train at.

Incorporating goal setting and feedback to enhance performance

Let’s face it. Every players wants to become the best possible cricketer. So, we want to educate you on how to train like a high functioning cricketer. That’s why we put specific learning systems in place to make that happen. For example, regular short term and medium term goal setting takes place so we can design a customised and structured coaching plan to achieve those goals. Additionally, our coaches make use of video feedback during sessions. Moreover, we provide regular verbal and written feedback to players to ensure everyone learns how to build repeatable and efficient cricketing techniques to help you achieve your potential.

Praise We Have Received From Our Customers

Luke’s knowledge of the technical aspects of cricket, along with his awareness of how to make coaching sessions engaging and educational, allows him to create a fun and positive learning environment for children. I’ve seen Luke in action at his school holiday cricket camps with his team of coaches. The cricket coaching programs used by Team Super Sports Camps combines technical advice with stimulating game sense drills and activities to help every junior cricketer reach their goals.

Josh Hazlewood – Australian Fast Bowler

Luke is well prepared and equipped to provide a positive and safe learning environment for junior cricketers to develop their game. He has formed a positive relationship with both of my children aged 7 and 13 because he has the ability to implement a range of effective coaching techniques. His friendly nature combined with his technical knowledge and ability to give appropriate verbal, video and written feedback makes him a highly recommendable coach to parents seeking to help their children become the best possible cricketer.

Ben Whitehouse

We highly recommend Luke if you are looking for some private or small group cricket training. His outstanding technical knowledge was matched by his calm demeanour, meaning he could not only help our son with his cricket skills but also knew when to change things up if he noticed any frustrations. Luke was really responsive to our goals, working with our son in such a positive manner and we got regular feedback. Thanks for being a great coach, Luke!

Caroline Rowland

Hi Luke. Just a short note to say thank you for the cricket training sessions with my 10 year old son Angus. You helped develop his bowling and batting skills in a fun, enjoyable way. He really enjoyed the sessions and is keen to continue. It was really nice for me to see his improved confidence and increased enjoyment on the cricket field. We are looking forward to next season and will definitely be back for some more individual training sessions.

Anna Koskinen

Luke has been training Jacob for about 12 months. Jacob’s game has progressed on every level. His bowling is faster and more accurately, his batting is sharper with more range of shots, and his fielding has more energy and accuracy. Luke is very patient and has excellent teaching techniques that keep lessons fresh and engaging. We highly recommend Luke as a coach to get the most out of your child’s cricket.

Cheyne and Liz Wagner

There isn’t enough I can say about Super Sports Camps and Coach Luke Reynolds. My son had been having trouble with some of the finer points in his bowling action and with the way Luke applies himself has most certainly taken my son to another level. I found Luke to be fully invested in what he teaches and what each individual’s goals are, no matter what the age. He simply wants you to succeed and be the best you can possibly be, he is a genuine person and an amazing coach. “I wish I had found him earlier for my son”.

Russell Henderson

I engaged Luke as my son wanted to improve his cricket all round. Luke has proven to be an excellent choice. He has been very accommodating in terms of timing and location of coaching sessions. Luke was quickly able to assess my sons’ skill level and then tailored his coaching program accordingly.

What my son and I liked most is that Luke focused on the main aim of batting which is, of course, scoring runs. It wasn’t just about looking good but rather he focused on timing, finding gaps and how the ball should be hit to have the most chance of beating fielders. It was next level stuff. Luke also talked regularly about confidence and positivity and the importance of a good attitude. He is very knowledgeable and his coaching included a variety of drills aimed at improving all areas of the game.

My son thoroughly enjoyed his sessions with Luke and was always keen for the next one. Luke’s coaching is excellent value for money and we will be using him again. I highly recommend him.

Peter Fitzgibbon

The first time I met Luke at an Inner West Winter Cricket Clinic, I quickly noticed how well organised he was. This allowed him to have a high degree of engagement from and with the kids at the clinic. After a few days, I approached Luke for 1 or 1 coaching for my son Patrick. From what I have witnessed, the professionalism and care shown by Luke enables him to improve any cricketers performance regardless of their skill level or age. I would highly recommend Luke and his team to any junior cricketer. Thank you.

John Kosmos

Since Luke has been our son’s cricket coach, we have noticed improvements in both his batting and bowling. Luke is very patient. He pays attention to the details and is able to provide clear instructions for our 10 year old. Our son enjoys his cricket sessions with Luke and he finds it helpful that Luke is able to explain to him the more technical aspects of cricket.

How Are Our Cricket Coaching Sessions Structured?

Here is how our individual and group cricket coaching sessions function:

Step 1 – Set Up and Introduction

Our coaches will greet parents/carers and players 5-10 minutes prior to the planned start time of the cricket coaching lesson. Following this, your coach will communicate their lesson plan with the player. During this discussion, your coach will seek your feedback. For example, players may want to share specific objectives or targets they wish to have satisfied during the lesson. So, it is important you tell our coach want you want to achieve to allow us to deliver a highly personalised and effective lesson plan.

Step 2 – Implementation of the Cricket Coaching Lesson

Following the introduction, our coaches will implement a range of cricket coaching drills, activities, and strategies. In other words, your coach will implement different coaching activities every 10-15 minutes. Similarly, our lesson plan can focus entirely on batting, bowling or fielding or it can be a combination of batting, bowling, and fielding. In other words, our coaches will give players the opportunity to choose from a range of learning activities that suit the learning/skill preference of the player. During the lesson, coaches will make use of video recording devices to provide instant feedback to players regarding the performance and execution of specific skills.

Step 3 – Reflection on and Evaluation of the Cricket Coaching Lesson

At the end of the lesson, our coaches enter into conversations with the player where evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness of the cricket coaching lesson take place. More specifically, your coach will wrap up the cricket coaching lesson by their thoughts on the level of progress achieved during the lesson and identify areas for further player improvement. Most importantly, your coach will seek feedback from you to determine the suitability of the coaching strategies used so we know how to make the next session even better for you.
