CRICKET EQUIPMENT YOU SHOULD BRING
It is recommended that all players bring with them their own batting equipment. Players should wear comfortable clothing and suitable running shoes to train in. A water bottle and a towel would be useful to bring to each session too.
How Our Cricket Coaching Lessons Work
STEP 1 – SET UP AND INTRODUCTION
Our coaches will greet players at the agreed start time of the cricket coaching lesson and will communicate their lesson plan. During this time, players can state their specific objectives or goals they wish to achieve during the lesson.
STEP 2 – IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CRICKET COACHING LESSON
The coach delivers a range of cricket coaching drills, activities, and strategies with different coaching activities used every 10-15 minutes. In order for the lesson to be effective, customers can ask the coach to focus entirely on batting, bowling, or fielding. Alternatively, the coach can include a combination of batting, bowling, and fielding strategies. Where appropriate, the coach will make use of video recording devices during the lesson to provide instant feedback to players.
STEP 3 – REFLECTION ON AND EVALUATION OF THE CRICKET COACHING LESSON
At the end of the lesson, the coach will have a conversation with the player. The purpose of this is for the coach to determine the suitability of the coaching strategies used and update the player on the level of progress achieved during the lesson. Additionally, the coach and player can speak about areas for further improvement and clarify the main takeaways from the lesson.

What Our Customers Are Saying About Us
Josh Hazelwood - Australian Men's Representative Player
Luke’s knowledge of the technical aspects of cricket, along with his awareness of how to make coaching sessions engaging and educational, allows him to create a fun and positive learning environment for children. I’ve seen Luke in action at his school holiday cricket camps with his team of coaches. The cricket coaching programs used by Team Super Sports Camps combine technical advice with stimulating game sense drills and activities to help every junior cricketer reach their goals.
Caroline Rowland
We highly recommend Luke if you are looking for some private or small group cricket training. His outstanding technical knowledge was matched by his calm demeanour, meaning he could not only help our son with his cricket skills but also knew when to change things up if he noticed any frustrations. Luke was really responsive to our goals, working with our son in such a positive manner and we got regular feedback. Thanks for being a great coach, Luke!
BEN WHITEHOUSE
Luke is well prepared and equipped to provide a positive and safe learning environment for junior cricketers to develop their game. He has formed a positive relationship with both of my children aged 7 and 13 because he has the ability to implement a range of effective coaching techniques. His friendly nature combined with his technical knowledge and ability to give appropriate verbal, video and written feedback makes him a highly recommendable coach to parents seeking to help their children become the best possible cricketer.
Cheyne and Liz Wagner
Luke has been training Jacob for about 12 months. Jacob’s game has progressed on every level. His bowling is faster and more accurately, his batting is sharper with more range of shots, and his fielding has more energy and accuracy. Luke is very patient and has excellent teaching techniques that keep lessons fresh and engaging. We highly recommend Luke as a coach to get the most out of your child’s cricket.
Anna Koskinen
Hi Luke. Just a short note to say thank you for the cricket training sessions with my 10 year old son Angus. You helped develop his bowling and batting skills in a fun, enjoyable way. He really enjoyed the sessions and is keen to continue. It was really nice for me to see his improved confidence and increased enjoyment on the cricket field. We are looking forward to next season and will definitely be back for some more individual training sessions.
PETER FITZGIBBON
I engaged Luke as my son wanted to improve his cricket all round. Luke has proven to be an excellent choice. He has been very accommodating in terms of timing and location of coaching sessions. Luke was quickly able to assess my sons’ skill level and then tailored his coaching program accordingly. What my son and I liked most is that Luke focused on the main aim of batting which is, of course, scoring runs.
It wasn’t just about looking good but rather he focused on timing, finding gaps and how the ball should be hit to have the most chance of beating fielders. It was next level stuff. Luke also talked regularly about confidence and positivity and the importance of a good attitude. He is very knowledgeable and his coaching included a variety of drills aimed at improving all areas of the game. My son thoroughly enjoyed his sessions with Luke and was always keen for the next one. Luke’s coaching is excellent value for money and we will be using him again. I highly recommend him.
Amy Luong
Since Luke has been our son’s cricket coach, we have noticed improvements in both his batting and bowling. Luke is very patient. He pays attention to the details and is able to provide clear instructions for our 10 year old. Our son enjoys his cricket sessions with Luke and he finds it helpful that Luke is able to explain to him the more technical aspects of cricket.
John Kosmos
The first time I met Luke at an Inner West Winter Cricket Clinic, I quickly noticed how well organised he was. This allowed him to have a high degree of engagement from and with the kids at the clinic. After a few days, I approached Luke for 1 or 1 coaching for my son Patrick. From what I have witnessed, the professionalism and care shown by Luke enables him to improve any cricketers performance regardless of their skill level or age. I would highly recommend Luke and his team to any junior cricketer. Thank you.
